Senior Citizen's
Day
The Outreach Center – Food Pantry is the local
distribution point for the Commodity Supplemental Food
Program for Senior Citizens. To be eligible, you must
be a least 60 years old and meet income guidelines. For

Each month nearly 200 Senior Citizens receive food boxes
at the Food Pantry. Senior Citizen’s Day, as we call
it, is the day the young and not so young of Community
Church work together to package and in some cases
deliver the food boxes.
It’s hard work but it gives everyone the chance to meet
and witness to the Senior Citizens of our community.
