Lifeline Support Groups
Recovery
Support groups for people who need help to stay free from addictions and life-controlling problems. A life-controlling problem is anything that masters a person's life. It may be a substance, behavior, or a relationship problem. Each group has a leader and meets weekly to assist its members along the path of total recovery, as they grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Groups for both men and women are available. The Manchester/Clay County group meets at Community Church @ 6:30PM. In addition to our Manchester location, we also offer a support group in Leslie Co. The Leslie County group meets on Mondays in downtown Hyden at the Presbyterian Church @ 6PM. Lifeline Groups are currently offered on Mondays only, in both locations.
Concerned Persons
Support group for families of those struggling with addictions and life-controlling problems. Because they also suffer the consequences of a loved one's choices, they need comfort and hope as they cope with sensitive issues. Meets @ 6:30PM on Mondays.
Prison/Jail Ministry
We have ministers that teach and preach at the Federal Prison Camp and the Clay County Detention Center here in Manchester. We also participate in the Angel Tree program for Christmas to ensure that children under the age of 15 receive a gift from their fathers.
Clay Countians United (CCU)
A grassroots effort to fight addiction and corruption.
Autism Support Groups
Extend-A-Hand
My Body--His Temple
